At the Kings Arms Hotel Westerham we pride ourselves in taking the hassle out of your big day.

Our friendly team will help in every way they can to ensure a happy day that is memorable for all the right reasons.

The Conservatory

The Conservatory is subtly decorated to complement your chosen colour scheme and will comfortably accommodate up to 25 guests for your wedding breakfast. The hotel gardens, ablaze with colour throughout the spring and summer months provide a beautiful setting for those all important wedding photographs and a safe area in which children can play.

The Conservatory is complemented by the adjoining Restaurant and through reception into the lounge bar, which is available for your private use from arrival drinks until your last guest has departed.

Wedding Ceremonies

The Conservatory will seat up to 25 guests with room for standing at the back, whilst the Restaurant area seats up to 50. The Hotel is licensed for Weddings.

Much of the ceremony information is dealt with directly by the Registrar in Sevenoaks, and we will be able to supply you with some of the more general information. The charge by the Hotel will be £150.00. The Registrar’s fee is to be arranged directly with them.

Accommodation

Guests who are celebrating your day with you may wish to stay the night. They can chose from out fantastic twin or double room with full English breakfast.

When block-booking a number of rooms in advance please inform us of the main family members who require rooms before we release the booked rooms to your other guests. Any rooms not allocated one month before the wedding will be released unless you instruct us otherwise.

Menus

You will find a selection of dishes within this portfolio. Choose a starter, main course and dessert to suit your taste. Coffee and mints are included in the tariff. If you have any suggestions please let us know and we can incorporate them and offer you a quote for the new menu.

Arrival Drinks and Wines

You will find suggestions for arrival drinks, wine and champagne/sparkling wines. You will, of course, be able to upgrade by choosing wines from our wine list.

Cake Stand and Knife

We can provide you with a large round or square cake stand and a knife with which to cut the cake.

Table Linen

The tables are laid with white linen cloths and napkins.

Table Plan

We will be more than happy to help you decide on your seating plan.

Deposits and Payments

A non-refundable deposit of £500.00 is required to secure your booking. Full payment for your reception is due 14 days prior to the event.

About the Information

We hope that we have answered any immediate questions you might have and given you some idea of the kind of day you can enjoy when you decide to book your wedding reception with us. Nothing is set in stone – we understand that every couple has their own idea of their perfect day. So whilst this portfolio gives you guidelines you will find that we are totally flexible, ensuring you get your fantasy day.

The Cellar bar is available for receptions and is an ideal venue for a DJ.

Entertainment

We have our own DJ’s and live entertainers. If you are organising your own live entertainers, it must be 4 people or less per band and pre-approved by the Manager.

Main Courses

• Selection of traditional of Roast meats with all the trimmings either: Turkey, Lamb, Beef or Pork
• Supreme of Chicken with creamy mushroom and white wine sauce
• Poached Salmon with leek and vermouth sauce
• Leek and Gorgonzola filo parcel, served with a cheddar cheese and chive sauce Main Courses are served with a selection of fresh Seasonal Vegetables and Potatoes.

• Apple pie with custard

• Lemon tart served with raspberry sauce

Evening Buffet Selection

An evening Reception can be arranged to compliment your Wedding Breakfast. This gives you the opportunity of inviting friends and relatives who were not able to attend the afternoon’s event. All Buffet prices are Per Person and include VAT.
